To be really precise here I should say "reachable state" rather than "state". This is because, although we only think of the states that we might actually get to on some input, I originally defined the LR(0) machine by saying it had one state for each possible set of LR(0) items. Soo, throughout this problem read "reachable state" whenever I say "state".
